Context

Junior Mines Provence is Mines Saint-Etienne's Junior Enterprise, a student-run consulting organization connecting companies with engineering students. When I took over as President, my objective wasn't simply to manage the organization, but to make it more visible, more structured and more impactful for both students and clients.

My Role

I lead an executive board responsible for business development, marketing, finance and quality, while overseeing strategy, client relations and the continuous improvement of our internal processes.

Key Initiatives

During my mandate, we've introduced La Lettre JMP, a monthly newsletter sharing our activities with the school, launched Les Jeudis JMP, a recurring event where partners and alumni train students on business and finance topics, and we're currently producing Le Défi JMP, a YouTube series following the complete journey of a client project from the first meeting to the final delivery. Alongside these initiatives, we've modernized our internal processes using collaborative and CRM tools to better support our growth.

Impact

Our team has already generated more than €20,000 in revenue, delivered engineering projects involving around 15 student consultants, signed a new parternship and continued expanding the Junior's visibility inside and outside the school.

What I Learned

Leading a Junior Enterprise taught me that successful engineering projects don't rely on technical skills alone. Building trust, creating opportunities for others and turning ideas into sustainable initiatives are just as important.
