CPGE Saint-Jean Alumni Association

Context

After graduating from CPGE Saint-Jean, I became President of its Alumni Association. Our ambition was twofold: help current students succeed in one of the country's most demanding academic programs while increasing the international visibility of Cameroon's first French preparatory program.

My Role

Together with the executive team, I coordinated initiatives bringing alumni and students together to share experience, advice and practical resources for future engineering students.

Key Initiatives

We organized online mock oral exams, created a Youtube Chanel, collaborated with content creators to increase our program's awareness in the country and encouraged alumni to actively support younger students throughout their preparatory classes.

Impact

Our work helped strengthen the alumni network, increase awareness of the program in the country and create lasting resources that continue supporting future generations of students.

What I Learned

This experience showed me that leadership isn't only about managing people. It's about creating communities where knowledge is shared and everyone benefits from those who came before them.
